I love making art that makes people happy. You may know me as the illustrator of the Baby Believer book series, or maybe you’ve just met me! Either way, welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
I believe art should inspire joy and hope. When I began creating prints, I started with Psalm 118:24 — “This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!” — which is how we verbally start each day with our children. I wanted to hang it on our wall to remind us throughout the day to keep this joyful, thankful attitude. I hope this print and others I’ve made will do the same for you, too.
I live in Falls Church, Virginia with my husband and three kids: two biological and one about-to-be-adopted. In 2016 I started illustrating children’s books after a 12-year career as a graphic designer and have been hand-lettering as a hobby since 2013. My art prints are a story of my artistic journey, blending my love of graphic art, bright colors, and hand-lettering.
